OK Nuts Trophy – Middle Distance Regional Event

incorporating the 2008 South East Middle Distance Championships

Sunday 5 October 2008

Glovers Wood

This year’s OK Nuts Trophy is a Middle Distance Regional Event – the first of its kind to be held in the south of England, with classes and course combinations based upon those designated for the British Middle Distance championships.  The race is being held on an area never previously used for orienteering – Glovers Wood, near Gatwick Airport.

Results are now final.

Sorry for the delay in producing the results – we had some computer problems with the newer version SI cards, which have hopefully now all been ironed out.  Provisional results and splits are now available on the links above, along with RouteGadget, Splitsbrowser and Winsplits to give you endless hours of fun analysis!

Congratulations to the winners of the main event trophies – Nick Barrable (OK Nuts Trophy for men’s open course 1 winner – top left above), Julia Blomquist (Heather Monro Trophy for women’s open course 3 winner), and Lucy Thraves (Margaret Loveless trophy for best junior – top right above).

Also well done to all the South East middle distance champions and medal winners, and all individual class winners (who won coasters) – if you did not collect your prize (and it was not collected for you!) please contact the organiser Teresa Turner organiser08 @ sloweb.org.uk to arrange collection.
