Battersea Park Race

London Park Race Series Race 5: Tuesday 28 June 2011

This race is part of the London Park Race Series 2011 which is organised by the London orienteering clubs. Like all races in the series, the race is suitable for beginners. Running in a T-shirt and trainers will be fine. Electronic timing will be used.

The registration and post race food and drinks will be at La Gondola Al Parco, which is located inside the park (SE) by the lake (enter the park via Rosary gate from the south or Chelsea gate from the North). Nearest train station is Battersea Park rail or Queenstown road, nearest tube is slone square (across the river so a bit of a longer walk).

If you do not have your own SI card, then you can hire one for the event at no charge. A penalty of £30 will be charged for hired SI cards that are lost or not returned, and such cards will be blacklisted.

Bags & Changing Facilities

You are recommended to arrive changed and ready to run. There will be an area for leaving bags in or near the cafe where we are running the race from. Please note that all bags are left at your own risk.
