Bishops Park Park Race, Tuesday 26 August

The final race of the London Park Race series 2014 takes place on Tuesday 19 August 2014 in Bishops Park, in south London, on Tuesday 26 August. It’s a great area for orienteering with a mix of open parkland, technical terrain and urban areas.

This is a Level C event so all BOF member runners on the long course will get Ranking points – starts will be at 45 second invervals (which can’t be changed) so do expect queues at some points during the evening

The race has been planned to be slightly shorter than normal with a view to people being able to hit it at speed and test their sprint technique prior to next months British Championships. Due to the fast nature of the course it will not be possible to use the new flashing dibbers – please replace with a hired one when you register.

Like all races in the series, the race is suitable for beginners. Full leg cover is not necessary; running in a T-shirt, shorts and trainers will be fine.
