Results from the Richmond Park Night-O:

Thanks to the forty competitors who braved the wet and windy conditions to compete in the penultimate event of SLOW’s 2012-13 Night-O series. The race seemed to run pretty smoothly with some impressive runs making it competitive at the top of the leader board going into the last race next month. Congratulations should go to Simonas Krebsta for winning by such a clear margin, and also to Angus Lund who was the only other person to have a fastest split for any leg and complete the course. Ben Roberts was an unfortunate victim of his headtorch battery running out while on his way to control #6, a particularly soggy route given the recent snow and heavy rain.

Thanks to the planner James Lyne, Don McKerrow for manning registration and results and Paul Couldridge for helping with equipment transfer and putting out and collecting controls.

The Night-O League remains wide open which will make for an exciting last race in the series on Wimbledon Common on 26 February.
