Park Series Race 4 – Wimbledon Common

With apologies for the delay, here are the results from the final Park Series race of the series, held at Wimbledon Common last Tuesday. Thanks to Chris Robinson for organising the race, and Chris Fry for running the computers on the evening.

We hope that everyone enjoyed the mini-series – it seemed to be very successful indeed, and numbers attending were significantly greater than most of the summer evening events last year (apart from the Trail Challenges). We hope to run something similar next summer, but would welcome any feedback on this mini-series and the full summer evening schedule of events as a whole (please pass any feedback to Pete Huzan – captain @ sloweb.org.uk).

There are still 2 summer evening events remaining in the series – a Mole Valley score event this Tuesday 29 July in Dorking, and the final evening Trail Challenge race at Richmond Park on Tuesday 12 August. There are plenty of other bigger SLOW events planned for September and October – keep an eye on the website for details! Additionally the Street-O series will return on Tuesday 16 September with the first race in Lambeth – further details to follow.
