Somewhere between 40 and 50 SLOW
members attended the Swiss O Week 6-day event held in Zermatt between 16-22 July
– probably one of the highest SLOW attendances of the year, and a figure which
would have put us 11th on the overall list of nations with the most runners
competing!
This was a truly
fantastic week’s orienteering, with agreement throughout that this was probably
the best multi-day event most people had ever attended – superb terrain,
wonderful scenery, a well-organised event with transport to events via mountain
railways and cable-cars, and a great atmosphere throughout.
I’ve been sent a very
