Congratulations to Mark and Ian Nixon, Mark Saunders, Jordan Larne and Tom Cochrane (2xM18, 3xM16)

A series of day-night matches was enjoyed by players and spectators alike. It enabled junior orienteering to once again show their skills, their talent for names, their tolerance for the officials, and their sense of fun. Many thanks from the officials to the teams that played in matching shirts, and for generally confining the intimidation to cuddles rather than kicks. Player of the tournament was David Bolton, for leading a last-minute collection of younger ones (average age 12) to third place, and for a spectacular bicycle kick goal against Norwich - Rodney Marsh himself would have been pleased with that.
