PLANNER’S COMMENTS - Mike Murray - absentee (in Paris) planner

 

I am indebted to all the club members who assisted on and before the day and in particular to those who made up for my limitations.

The Turners, Simon,Theresa and Charlie for putting out all controls and boxes.

Chris Fry for all his work on setting up and printing the map and overprinting courses.

Andy Robinson for putting all the recent map corrections onto your up to date map and for programming the SI boxes.

Di and Alan Leakey for everything else.

 

ORGANISER’S COMMENTS - Diane Leakey

 

The organiser’s job is made much easier when everything can be located so close together. So a big thank you is due to Mike Murray for organising land permission, car parking and the assembly field as well as planning the courses! Everyone seemed to enjoy the event – it’s just a pity that we didn’t have more people there. Finally a big thank you to all my helpers, especially Marco & Monika Bonafini who had just flown in from Switzerland the day before.

 

CONTROLLER’S COMMENTS - Charlie Turner

 

No need for any comments from me other than to say that I think Mike's courses were appreciated by everybody and that Chris Fry's effort in producing the map unit etc, also played a big part in the success of the day.  Of course the organising team 'Leakey' also played an important role.
