Welcome to the 1st event of the 2006 Southern Express series.

Directions and parking. Parking is at SU882392. This is on the north side (i.e. on the O map) of the minor road on the south side of the area. It will only be signed 100m either side of the car park and not any further afield.

Map. Survey 2002 but updated where necessary. 1:10000. 5m contours

Terrain. Mix of woodland and open heathland

Courses: there are 3

- shortish (4.1K or Open) for men aged 19-44

- shorter (3.2k) for ladies, mens vets and older juniors

- shortest (2k) – a yellow course for younger juniors

Registration: will open at 10.30

Starts: will be from 11.00 to 12.00

Entry Fee £4.00 for seniors, £1.50 for juniors. Add £1/50p if not a BOF or SLOW member.

SportIdent electronic punching will be used. SI card hire - £1

Senile. Is on the same area from the same car park later in the day (starts 6-7). Some of the control sites may look familiar!!
