London City Race 2015 – Extended Map

London City Race 2015 update! Today we can reveal that the newly commissioned extension to the City of London race map covers a huge 1.5 square kilometre area. All competitors will experience the new section which is a real treat for the urban racing connoisseur. It has a distinctly watery feel, including an ornamental canal network, a famous waterfront onto the River Thames, two docks and two basins. The link between the new and old sections also potentially allows (subject to planning constraints), for many courses, a close encounter with an iconic London landmark. We can’t believe we’ve waited eight years to add this exciting section to the classic map! Logistics mean might be a long while before we make it back to the new part, so don’t miss out on this chance to run it.

Once again, the London City Race will be no ordinary urban orienteering event! A small extract of the new map is below, heavily pixellated to “save the surprise”. Enter now to take advantage of the best entry rates, and don’t forget our partner races in Kensington (the day before) and Highgate (the day after) too. Enter all races at http://cityrace.org/
