SLOW summer picnic – Kew Green

Saturday 19 August 2006

This year the summer club ‘BBQ’ will instead be an informal Picnic on Kew Green from 1 pm on 19 August.  I will bring the cakes and pudding, you bring your own picnic basket and a blanket.

I have made a small course for the youngsters on the green and a street O for everyone else.  Parking is free along the Green and parts of Kew Road on the weekend, although it fill up quickly.  In case you cant find a spot, Kew Gardens has a pay and display parking lot off of Kew Green.  Even better you can take the train to Kew Bridge (5 min walk) or to Kew Gardens tube (9 min walk).  Alternatively buses 391 (Hammersmith/Richmond) and 65 (Kingston/Ealing) both stop on the green.

We will meet beside St. Annes Church - please see the flyer for further details here.

 Hope to see you there!
