Race 1: Bishop’s Park

This is the first of four races in SLOW’s July 2008 Park Orienteering Race Series.

Location: Grid ref TQ243759 – map link here. At the North end of Putney Bridge on the west side of the road is a bus-stop labelled FH. Behind this are some steps. At the bottom of the steps you will find registration, start, and finish.

Public Transport: 200m from Putney Bridge tube. 750m from Putney mainline station.

Parking: in surrounding streets

Start times: 6.45pm to 8.15pm.

Cost: free

Courses: Long 4.5km, Short 1.9km

Afterwards: Food and drink 100m north in a pub with the unlikely name of The Temperance.
