Park Orienteering Race Series

The next park series race will be at Ravenscourt Park on Tuesday 16th June. This is a brand new area for orienteering!

Meeting Point: At the Thatched House pub (http://www.thatchedhouse.com/) on the corner of Dalling Road and Paddenswick Road in Hammersmith. Location here. It's to the East side of the park, a few minutes walk from Ravenscourt Park Tube. Nearest public transport is the District Line to Ravenscourt Park, alternatively Hammersmith tube is only about a 10-15 minute walk. Registration will be in the pub, start and finish will be just inside the park.

Starts: From 6:30 to 7:30pm.

Cost: SLOW members £1, others £2. Everyone is welcome! Cost includes map and hire of an electronic timing device (SI-card), if required. Entry on the day only.

Courses: Long course 4km (medium), short course 2km (easy).

Facilities: Bag drop, toilets and food & drink all at the pub. No changing rooms as such, but you could use the toilets if stuck.

Map: Ravenscourt Park map at 1:2,500. Maps are overprinted on waterproof paper. Hope to see you there.
