Street-O event – Pimlico

The December Street-O will be held from 22A Lupus Street, Pimlico, London SW1V 3DZ (map link here) on Tuesday 11th December.  The venue is a basement flat on the north side of Lupus Street between Moreton Terrace and St Georges Square and is small and cosy. 

The event will be in the normal 60 minutes (or 45 minutes) score format with start times from 18:45 until 20:15.  Competitors should be equipped with pen/pencil and watch – compass and headtorch although allowed are not thought necessary.  Maps will be bagged in transparent sleeves – bring your own map bag if you want to use something more robust.

Changing accommodation is limited and intimate!  Please come changed and ready to run/jog/walk if possible.  Public transport is recommended – the venue is within 150 yards (sorry, metres) of Pimlico Underground station on the Victoria Line.

Food will be available – a choice of curries that we have sourced from the local take-away – Chicken Korma (mild), Saag Lamb (medium) or Vegetable (somewhere in between we think) served with rice and naan bread at £7 per head.

If you are dining please e-mail Steve (SAllenFam @ aol.com) with your choice of curry by Monday evening.  He might also like to hear if you're just turning up to run so that he and Ursula can work out which interior walls will have to be knocked down to create more space (only joking).

Unlike last year you will not be required to sing a Christmas carol on return from your run.
