Street-O
: Kensington & Notting Hill – Results

Thanks to Phil
for hosting the event, and managing to find time for some last-minute course
planning after a busy month working out of the country. We are blaming the OCAD computer software for
the reason there were two control number 38’s on the map!
This is the 3rd year
running that Phil has hosted a street-O event from his house in Notting Hill,
and looking at the past results you can clearly see how the popularity of
SLOW’s street-O series has grown: there were just 15 people competing at the
March 2006 event, which increased to 32 in January 2007. This time’s event saw a new record street-O
attendance of 59!

Lost property – there are two items of lost property to mention: a ladies blue
fleece, and an unclaimed sausage and mash at the pub (they didn't seem too

Next event – the next Street-O is being held in Putney on Tuesday 11 March –
further details will appear on the website in due course. Full details of the 2007/08 SLOW Street-O
series can be found here. Also, LOK are hosting a street-O race next week in Hampstead on Thursday

Results – the full results are set out below. We have used total time to differentiate
scores to avoid too many people finishing equal on points (rounded to the
nearest minute, except for a few of the men/women podium positions where every
second counts!). Please send any
