Street-O event – Wimbledon

The next street orienteering event will be held in Wimbledon on Tuesday 13th November. Full details are set out below.

Location/directions – Christopher's Squash Club, Plough Lane, SW17 0BL – map link here. Next to Wimbledon Stadium and opposite Curry's. Entrance is up some stairs. Park in the club car park or on the single yellow lines after 7.00. Wimbledon Park and Tooting Broadway tubes both 1.5km walk. Haydons Road mainline 800m. For those saving themselves for the run, catch the 493 bus from Wimbledon or Tooting Broadway or try the 156, 270, 77, or 44 which all go near.

Facilities – Free entry, changing, and showers. Bar and food available (but see below).

Starts – from 6.45pm to as late as you think reasonable

Course – usual 60 or 45 minute street score course around Wimbledon and Wimbledon Village.

Food – will be jacket potato with chilli for £4. Only 25 available for the first 25 people to request by e-mail to Don McKerrow (say if you want it veggie). Also please let him know anyway if you are coming to ensure we have enough maps. E-mails to chair @ sloweb.org.uk
