Street-O : Lambeth – Results

A marvellous turnout (53) for the first event of the Street-O season; thankfully the rain held off, although clouds overshadowed the evening.  Thanks to The Duke of Sussex for excellent food.

People had some difficulty identifying the correct lampposts through not getting to exactly the right place.  However, the winner did not make any mistakes, so I would claim that the sites were correctly marked on the map, wouldn’t I; however I probably over-used these as control sites for us ordinary mortals.

I was able to verify this morning that the water hydrant sign at Control 33 had been moved since last Thursday from the railing 1m behind the stopcock to the lamppost 5m to its left!  Hence the sign became 125 over 5, with an arrow pointing right, not 125 over 1!  The vicissitudes of Lady Luck!
