Race 4: Peckham Rye Park

The next park series race will be at Peckham Rye Park SE22
on Tuesday 30th June. Technical courses with a changing pace on an up-to-dated map.

How to get there
By car: Entrance to the park by car is from the east side (Peckham Rye to Straker's road). Parking space is available in the streets around the pub and in the park's car park. Please note that the park gates close at 8:30pm, so please make sure you exit on time.
Public transport:
Nearest Railway station are Peckham Rye, Nunhead, East Dulwich, Honor Oak Park (15-20 minute walk). Bus routes around the park: 12, 197, 63 (stop near the pub) or 37, 343, 484, 78 (5-7 minute walk).
The Event
Registration: From 6:20 to 7:20pm.
Facilities: Bag drop, food &
drink available at the hosting pub, which offers both indoor and outdoor seating space. No changing rooms as such, but you could use the toilets if
stuck. Public toilets are available also in the park - close to the start. According to the pub's license, people under 18 should not stay after 10pm.
Start and finish: Will be in a short walking distance from the assembly area. Starts from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Courses close at 8:30pm
Cost: SLOW members £1, others £2. Everyone
is welcome! Cost includes map and hire of an electronic timing device (SI-card), if
required. Entry on the day only.
Map: Peckham Rye Park map at 1:5,000. Maps are
overprinted on waterproof paper.
Courses: Long course ~5km (includes a map turn over), Short course
~3km. Control description (IOF symbols) are printed on the map.
