London Orienteering Klubb offers a contrast to complete your weekend as you navigate through the delightful woods and open parkland of Hampstead Heath, offering iconic views of London.

Don't be fooled, although it is situated within a famous London suburb and easily accessible by public transport, this area offers a mix of terrain and hills with a complex path network providing a different challenge for your navigation skills.

Transport: Overground to Hampstead Heath - 5mins walk (check for engineering work), or Underground to Belsize Park on the Northern Line (9 min from King's Cross St Pancras) - 15mins walk

Parking: East Heath Car Park (Pay & Display), East Heath Road, Hampstead, London NW5 (TQ272859 / NW3 1TH) or free parking in local side roads (if early)

Courses: Approximately lengths/categories as for the City Race. See flyer link below for full details.

Timing: SI electronic punching will be used.

Map: 1:10000 with 5 metre contours, on waterproof paper with preprinted courses.

Entry: adults £5 (BOF) or £7 (non-BOF), juniors/students £2. SI hire: £1. No pre-entry - just turn up and enter on the day.

Registration: 0930 to 1130

Start Times: 1000 to 1200. Start and finish are two minutes from the car park. Courses close at 1400.

Facilities: Public toilets 5 minutes away. Squash/water provided at finish.
