CANCELLED – Richmond Park Night O, Tuesday 24th March
The final race of South London Orienteers’ 2019-2020 Night-O Series is on Tuesday 24th March in Richmond Park. The open and runnable parkland is perfect for fast and furious head-to-head racing.

The Night-O series are public races – all are welcome. Please RSVP to the event via Facebook (link above) to let us know you are coming – you can also see who else is coming and post questions. If you are not on Facebook, please let the organiser Duncan Grassie (email details at bottom of this post) know you are coming so that the correct number of maps are printed.
Race Centre
The race centre is The Lass O’ Richmond Hill, Queen’s Road, TW10 6JJ. Richmond is the nearest station. From there you can take bus 371 to ‘American University’, almost directly in front of the pub. Alternatively it’s a 20 minute walk.

Race Details
The entry fee is £5, or £3 for SLOW members, students and juniors. The race will use SIAC contactless punching. SIAC cards are available to hire if you do not have your own. A small number of headlamps are also available to borrow free of charge but you need to e-mail the organiser in advance to reserve one.

These courses are offered:
- Long: 6km – mass start at 7:25pm
- Short: 3km – mass start at 7:30pm
The start is a 10 min jog from The Lass O’ Richmond Hill. Competitors should aim to arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start times.
Courses close 8:45pm – you must return to the pub at this time, even if you have not finished your course.
Series prize giving will take place on the night, as soon as we have worked out the results.
All competitors take part at their own risk.
