Bethnal Green Street-O Results
It was another great turn out for our Street-O event, the last in the 2024-25 series. Thanks Iris and helpers for putting on the event. It was sunny and warm. The Three Colts Tavern served delicious pizza and refreshing drinks, the perfect accompaniment for chatting with friends and analysing routes. We also perhaps broke the record for youngest and oldest orienteer combo at a Street-O!

It was tight at the top of the standings with Duncan needing to win the finale in order to jointly win the series. He made a valiant attempt, getting 770 points but was penalised for being late back, and so Harold won the final event with 750 points. Charlotte Emms was the top woman, getting 600 points. Well done to all 109 who took part!

The end of the Street-O series means it is time for the Park Race series. There is an event every Tuesday until end of July at one of London’s parks. The first is next week at Waterlow Park.
