Roehampton University Park Race, Tuesday 26 July
The seventh race of the London 2022 Park Race series takes place on the Roehampton University campus on Tuesday 26th July 2022. The event will be a fun sprint-type challenge around the campus buildings and gardens. Entries are open at SiEntries.
Race Centre
The race HQ is The King’s Head Roehampton. The King’s Head has great food, delicious drinks, cosy corners, a glorious garden, and is child & dog friendly.
The nearest train station is Barnes station, from which it is a 30 minute walk or you can take bus 265 or 419 to stop “Roehampton Lane / Danebury Avenue” (15 minutes). Trains to Barnes run from Clapham Junction and London Waterloo. You can also get the District line tube to Putney Bridge station and get a bus to the pub (30 minutes): either bus 430 to stop “Roehampton Library”, bus 85 to stop “Roehampton Lane / Danebury Avenue” or bus 265 to stop “Roehampton Lane / Danebury Avenue”. See TFL website for details.
Kit can be left at the pub while you run (at you own risk).
We will be using SiEntries entry system and so if you have your own SI/SIAC, you do not need to come the pub beforehand if you choose – you can go directly to the Start. However you must come back to the pub to download.

Race Details & Entry
Registration and entry is online only. Entry is open and via SiEntries. All entries, including on the day, will be online. Entries will stay open until 19:25 on the day of the event subject to map availability.
The entry fee is £3 for juniors and students; £5 for senior British Orienteering members*; £7 for others. Your entry fee includes a full colour map printed on waterproof paper, which you can keep as a souvenir after your run, and a printout of your race time and splits at the end of the race.
*If you are not yet a member, do consider joining or renewing for 2022! Please see our ‘Join Us‘ page for more details.
The races use both SIAC contactless and SI electronic punching. SIAC cards are available to hire for those who do not have their own for £2 (free for juniors). Hire cards to be collected at the pub.
You are welcome to participate in pairs or groups. Each entry uses one electronic chip and provides one map, so make as many entries as the number of maps the group will want. We do recommend having your own map as map-reading and navigating is part of the fun! If making a single entry for a group, please put “+1” or “+Runner B name” etc at the end of the surname field in the online entry system so that the club can monitor participation numbers.
