SLOW medals at South East Sprint Champs

SLOW members were out in force at the South East Sprint Championships at Manor Park/ Surrey Research Park in Guildford, organised by Guildford Orienteers. The event had two races (one in morning and one in the afternoon 2 hours after the first). The combined time from the two races determined the overall result and medal winners. The area was tricky and great for the sprints, providing high intensity orienteering and lots of route choice. The weather was warm and humid with a few drizzly spells.

Congratulations to our new SE Sprint Champions Paul Couldridge (M45-55) and Dorte Torpe Hansen (W45-55).

Congratulations also to our other medal winners Vinh-Phuong Hoang (silver W18-40) and Fiona Tam (bronze W18-40). Heather also had a strong race, finishing in 4th and only 4 seconds off the bronze medal.
