Kingston Be a Sport – Orienteering Event
SLOW is joining in Active Kingston’s ‘Be a Sport’ Olympics follow-up event this Sunday, 19 August. There will be a micro-O and various 1k sprint courses round Kingston market place. 12 noon – 4.00pm.
Loads of other sports and activities on offer – we are situated quite near British Cycling’s stand!
Suitable for children and families but the 1k courses will test adult orienteers and newcomers alike; we need some orienteers to come along to show people how it should be done!
Bring your friends and families along, or stop by as an escape from shopping!
We’ll be in the NE corner of the Market Place, outside Links jewellers, Hobbs and East (where the flower stall usually is; in fact we’ve incorporated the flower stands into the map!)
