London City Race 2026
The 17th London City Race takes place on Saturday 19th September 2026 in Bermondsey, featuring substantial newly mapped areas never before used for Orienteering. Offering an extensive, intricate mix of low-rise urban redevelopment, some parkland and, for the longer courses, some waterfront areas. This race is part of the UK Orienteering League 2026. The whole area is subject to traffic restrictions through extensive use of speed humps and crossings with a maximum speed of 20mph.
There will be accompanying races on Friday evening and Sunday:
Friday – Sprint. Middlesex University Hendon, organised by LOK
Sunday – Thamesmead Urban, organised by DFOK

Assembly will be at the City of London Academy. Nearest stations are Bermondsey Underground and South Bermondsey, both approximately 1100 metres away, 15 minute walk. Bus route 381 passes the school, stop ‘Esmerelda Road’. See tfl website for travel information
