Courses, Terrain and Map

  • Three Blood Races with a mass start. Runners will encounter a number of butterfly loops. The Full Blood, Half Blood and Very Nearly an Armful will be roughly equivalent to Black, Brown and Blue courses respectively. These courses will use both Hankley and the rarely-visited Elstead Heath.
  • Five colour-coded courses. These courses will be on Hankley Common only using predominately the northern section.

The common and heath are both made up of open heathland with heather for tough running mixed with fast clear woodland. There will be a taped route between the two areas.
