The Night-O series is a public race – all are welcome. Please RSVP to the event via Facebook (link above) to let us know you are coming – you can also see who else is coming and post questions. If you are not on Facebook, please let the organiser Matthias Mahr know you are coming (details below) so that the correct number of maps are printed.
The race will be based at The Albert on Kingston Hill, 57 Kingston Hill, Norbiton KT2 7PX. The pub serves great food and drink, and there will be the usual opportunity to revisit route choices with other runners.

The Albert is a 5 minute walk from Norbiton station. Come out of main exit to the north, cross the road and head down Wolverton Avenue. At the end turn right and the pub is on the left. Trains run from Waterloo to Norbiton leave every 15 minutes and direct ones take 25 minutes.
The final race in the series will be a mass start “billygoat” race starting at 19:30 for all competitors, with registration from 18:30 to 19:15. This is mostly because it won’t be dark before 19:15, but it will also add a bit of additional competition!
The entry fee is £2 for SLOW members, students and juniors; £3 for others. The race will use SI electronic punching with SI cards available to hire on the night. Headlamps are also available for hire if you e-mail the organizer in advance to reserve one.
|Registration||Between 1830 and 1915|
|Start Times||Between 1930 and 1930|
Courses will close at 20:30.
The following courses will be available:
- Long: approximately 5km, quite challenging
- Short: approximately 2.5km, quite challenging
All competitors take part at their own risk. You MUST be over 16 to take part in this event, unless you are accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is a condition of our insurance.
