OK Nuts 2026

National Event Monday May 4th 2026

South London Orienteers invite you to take part in the OK Nuts Trophy 2026, our premier forest race of the year, on May 4th 2026. It is being held in Winterfold Forest, one of the best forests for the sport in our part of England.

Parking is at Peaslake Village Recreation ground, on a slightly sloping grass field, signposted off Lawbrook Lane, Peaslake.

Terrain

Winterfold is lovely on a nice day and great for challenging orienteering whatever the weather. It was used for the British Championships in 2013, the OK Nuts in December 2015 and May 2021, and the Veteran Home International in December 2021.

Winterfold is a mix of gentle and steep slopes, with many re-entrants, gullies and paths. There are also sections of detailed broken ground and runnability is generally good.
