Park Race Series 2022

It’s here again, tell your friends! We hope you will be keen to join us at our summer evenings series of orienteering in parks around London.

These evenings consist of informal “sprint format” orienteering races, with a pub social afterwards. There are courses of 5km and 2.5km.

All races are on Tuesday evenings, and can be readily reached by London Public Transport..

The first race is on May 17th in Victoria Park, hosted by partner club London OK. The park is one of London’s most visited green spaces and also the oldest public park in the capital – it opened in 1845. For more details of the orienteering see the Victoria Park Race flyer. The event centre is the People’s Park Tavern, which is in the Park.

The second race is on May 31st in Burgess Park. This is Southwark’s largest park, so it’s quite central, and we’ve never used it before. It’s fabulous for orienteering and the pub that hosts us is only four minutes from Oval tube.

For the full schedule please see the dedicated Park Race Series pages

Here’s the map of where all the park races will be. Who will get to all of them?
